Just in case...



The Summer WARD came out back on August 16, so its alternate cover for "Saiyuki Gaiden" Vol. 3 has probably already been posted somewhere--but since my scanner just turned up, what the heck, will post it just in case. The images above are the front and back with the text removed. For the front and back with the text, scanned at 125 percent:

Should be back online for good from the new house on September 6, when the construction will be done to hook the place up for cable and high-speed Internet. The next day, my partner will arrive at long last! (We've lived apart the last seven years while I've been in Japan...way, wayyyy too long!) I've been unpacking every night, trying to get the house ready before then. Still have a high heap of boxes to get through, but can't help but hope that time flies until the deadline--can't wait for September 7!

"Saiyuki Gaiden" is planned to return in the Autumn WARD on November 16. "Saiyuki RELOAD" is not expected to be in the issue of Monthly Comic ZERO-SUM that comes out tomorrow, though.

Unpacking awaits... Hope this finds all well!

...I think Goku is my favorite thing of those two covers (which is strange with my obsession over Kenren in Gaiden). Goku is so adorable there!

Somehow, Konzen looks too much like Sanzo in that shot, if that makes any sense at all. (Which is also strange for me because I do love Konzen and Sanzo is my favorite character.)

Thank you very much for these scans! They're gorgeous. And good luck with the unpacking! I know that can be a bear.

Good to know all is going well...

...and apart for 7 years.... I can sympathise with you on that. By the time I got hitched we'd been apart longer than we'd been together (well physically that is!)

So very very happy for you on that...

Thank you so much for sharing those are indeed lovely and Kenren puts me in mind of a long slinky black panther..just lounging!

oh also..sorry for rambling but..Japan should be able to enjoy the lunar eclipse, the time we've been given between 5:52pm and 7:23 pm (I think that Japan is only an hour ahead of us.) Just thought I'd let you know.

Those scans are awesome, as usual. When I saw the back cover, I felt a pang in my heart... Minekura is so damn good at this! Hope she'll be back with new fantastic stuff soon ^^

Thanks a load for sharing~! I don't remember the name, but someone had formerly share them at the saiyuki comm-- but they weren't without the text most probably.

Anyway, hope it all works out nicely for you~.

Thank you for the great images! It's so much filled with foreboding for things to come... Here's Goku, happy in the midst of his friends, and the next moment all that's left are cherry blossom leaves... So sad.

Good luck on your moving! I hope that you'll get everything over to the new place in one piece!
